Pocket Informant Pro 2007 Released

I am quite happy to announce the final release of Pocket Informant 2007! We've worked pretty hard with this release and have some amazing things to talk about. First is that Pocket Informant 2007 now works directly with Franklin Covey Plan Plus for Outlook 4.0. Pocket Informant 2007 adds several new Franklin Covey Plan Plus for Outlook 4.0 (PPO) features such as the Daily Tasks, Master Tasks, Projects, Task Status, Percentage Completion, and Daily Notes. These features work perfectly within Pocket Informant without PPO. However for these features to sync up to the desktop you need to have PPO version 4.0. PPO 4.0 ships with the sync conduit which syncs this data to the desktop.

Second is just how well integrated the new features within PI 2007 are - here are some highlights:

Its got a lot of features and is constantly updated, isn't it complex?

Despite its robust features, Pocket Informant is naturally easy to use. Features are designed to be quickly accessible, without being in the way. We're constantly improving the features that already exist making them faster, more intuitive, and more efficient. We're not simply tacking on features for the sake of numbers. Unlike competing software or Pocket Outlook, Pocket Informant is designed to be naturally intuitive and to work the way you want to work. We took the easy way in designing our software; the easy way for you, not for us.

-->

How can Pocket Informant help you?

Pocket Informant can manage simple appointments and tasks and grow with your needs to handle even the most complex situations. It comes with hundreds of commands to manipulate, manage, and work through a few items or hundreds. Change categories of multiple items at once. Create appointments or tasks from a contact. Drag and drop appointments from one day to another. Convert appointments into tasks; drag a task to the calendar to convert it to an appointment. These just a few things you can do. All of them are tucked away for when you need them and out of your way when you don't.

The best part about Pocket Informant is that it is fully compatible with all applications and services that work with Pocket Outlook. We sync with ActiveSync and Exchange Server ActiveSync. We work with Pocket Outlook plugins. We sync with WebIS Mobile Sync and work with Today plugins for quick viewing of your info.

Pocket Informant is designed as a turnkey solution - with no advanced setup or steep learning curve.  Should you want to enhance your experience, please visit our extensive help and support sections and general Reference.

Satisfied Customers

And when you purchase Pocket Informant, you will be joining a group of users over 400,000 strong and chosen by Hewlett-Packard to be in ROM of the new High End hx 4700 Pocket PC. No other PIM can match that. Customers agree that Pocket Informant far improves upon the standard PIM tools offered on the Pocket PC as well as any other third party applications. Such things as Contact pictures, fully customizable Color Schemes, Timeline View, Category Grouping, Mini-Text Month Views, Zoomable Month Views, Task View extreme, and so much more - download a trial and see why we're the #1 PIM on the Pocket PC!

Franklin Covey Plan Plus for Outlook 4.0 Support

Pocket Informant 2007 adds several new Franklin Covey Plan Plus for Outlook 4.0 (PPO) features such as the Daily Tasks, Master Tasks, Projects, Task Status, Percentage Completion, and Daily Notes. These features work perfectly within Pocket Informant without PPO. However for these features to sync up to the desktop you need to have PPO version 4.0. PPO 4.0 ships with the sync conduit which syncs this data to the desktop.

Journal Sync 2.0 Info

Pocket Informant 2007 provides a completely revamped journal support with RTF and new fields. This new journal is not supported by the current Journal Sync 1.x product. WebIS is working on a new Journal Sync 2.0 application designed for Pocket Informant 2007 to be ready in the fall of 2006.

FlexMail 2007 Released!

Winner of the 2006 Shareware Industry Conference Best PDA Software award, FlexMail is a full fledged email client for your Pocket PC. It supports reading and replying to ActiveSynch email for basic operations or through its infinitely more powerful POP3/IMAP4 services to your email server. With support for industry standard SSL and SOCKS proxies, you can connect to almost any email provider including GMail!

With FlexMail's many options you can customize your email usage much more than any the Pocket PC Inbox allows. Receive your email via ActiveSync and respond via your POP3/IMAP4 SMTP account. Have FlexMail only hold the last 5 days of your IMAP folders. Create local folders and server folders. Synchronize by age, size, and synchronizations status on a per folder basis allowing you to get only the last 5 day's worth of email in your Inbox but the last months in your Personal folder, for example.

Some of the new features include:
The intuitive interface makes working with mail on the Pocket PC 2003 and Windows Mobile 5 OSs a joy. You have multiple interfaces to choose from such as the normal Folders/Messages tab, the 3 pane view, or showing a preview window in all views. Change the orientation to landscape mode on startup. You control the way FlexMail downloads your mail, the way it responds, and the way you read it.

Use the Mail Rules to filter your email, the folder searching to find your email, and the powerful integrated spell checker to check the spelling of your email. It is based off the popular award winning PhatSpell from PhatWare, Inc.. FlexMail will also work with the full PhatSpell installation as well.   (Source: Press Release)
