Four Rivers Software Announces TMS Mobile(TM), Wireless Access to TMS

Four Rivers Software Systems, Inc., the provider of TMS, the leading maintenance management software (EAM/CMMS) system for the healthcare industry, announced the availability of TMS Mobile.
TMS Mobile puts the power of TMS on a Pocket PC.  This affords biomed and facilities departments the ability to take the paper out of the work order process.  The result is the elimination of duplicate data entry, an increase in the accuracy and timeliness of data, and an increase in technician productivity.
Work orders, assets, material charges, time charges, physical counts and PM templates can be viewed, created and updated electronically on the spot and the data is available immediately to be synchronized with a TMS database over a hospital's 802.11 wireless network, private wired (WAN/LAN) network or over the Internet.
Technicians can keep important data with them on their Pocket PC and avoid trips back to the office to search for information.  Any Pocket PC that supports Windows Mobile 2003 or higher and has at least 64 MB RAM can run TMS Mobile.
The TMS Today feature provides useful information on one screen including:
total amount of time charged by the user, number of active work orders
assigned, number of assets, materials, and work orders on the device, and the
date and time of last synchronization.
TMS Mobile is available immediately.  Four Rivers customers with a license for the prior generation product, pocketTMS, who have a current software maintenance agreement, will receive TMS Mobile at no additional cost.
"We built TMS Mobile from the ground up and focused our efforts on making this an enabler of process improvement.  One of the great features of TMS Mobile is the speed and flexibility of data synchronization.  This enables technicians to synchronize frequently, keeping themselves and the TMS database current.  With such current work order and asset information feeding TMS reports, management has extraordinary visibility into their operation for superior decision making," said Henry Wilde, CEO of Four Rivers.
