Berlitz® Compact German Dictionary for Handhelds and Smartphones
The Berlin-based software developer Envi.con KG, in co-operation with the language publisher Berlitz®, has released the Berlitz® Compact German Dictionary for handhelds and smartphones.
The Berlitz® Compact German Dictionary brings one of the most trusted names in language reference to the mobile device. The dictionary contains over 50,000 entries drawn from modern usage, complete and accurate definitions, as well as information about idiomatic expressions. It is ideal for writers, students, and professionals, or anyone else who needs the right word at the right time.
A number of the dictionary's features are unique to the mobile platform. The incorporated full text search function scans the word lists in addition to the contents of every entry. In this way all possible matches are found.
The user can also look up words while using another application without the need to close it. This is a particularly valuable tool for anyone who reads or edits foreign texts on their mobile device.
The Berlitz® Compact German Dictionary translates in two directions: German-English and English-German. The user interface is in English.
For the first time Berlitz® dictionaries are available for the mobile device. Handheld and smartphone users now have dependable language reference quickly within reach, making heavy paper dictionaries seem obsolete.

DualCor cPC in the wild
We're not nearly as into DualCor's cPC Windows convergence device now that we found out it doesn't come with any built-in wireless radios, but we've still been looking forward to catching it in the wild just the same, because any pocket-sized machine that sports both XP and WM5 is more than a little bit noteworthy in our book. And luckily for us, our partners-in-crime over at Engadget Chinese have just captured some nice photos of this two-processor machine as part of their extensive Computex 2006 coverage, although our contribution of copying and pasting the pics for you to peep should not be overlooked. More cPC snaps are available after the break, and more VIA-powered products from the CPU manufacturer's booth tour can be found by following the Read link... (Source: Evan Blass, Engadget)
