Synchronization Software allows Groups/Teams & Mobile Workers to Collaborate with Outlook Tasks!

Advantage International, Inc., a Microsoft Exchange and Outlook Add-ins solution provider, announces the release of Add2Exchange for TasksT, a server-based software solution for automatic synchronization of private and public Outlook task folders. In recent months, Add2Exchange has established a greater presence in the sync community with the Outlook calendar and contact synchronization modules. Today, Advantage International, Inc. takes the term "sync" to the next level by adding Add2Exchange for TasksTM and offering all three modules in their Add2Exchange Enterprise Sync Suite which provides the capability to synchronize all server-side Exchange folders.

Add2Exchange for TasksTM is an Exchange Add-on, Outlook task sync solution which synchronizes any combination of Outlook tasks- private (mailbox) and public (group). For mobility, Add2Exchange for Tasks will sync public and private tasks to Outlook on most PDAs, Smartphones, BlackBerry handhelds (cradled/wireless) and Outlook Web Access. In addition, users can replicate new tasks 4-ways and synchronize edits of 8-ways.

According to Advantage International, Inc., the problem with using Outlook tasks for project management stems from the lack of opportunity for groups to collaborate with them. When asked why Advantage International decided to extend its synchronization software product line with solutions for Outlook task management, Trace Tervo, CEO and DidItBetter Software Inventor replied, "Add2Exchange for TasksTM was created for Outlook and Exchange users who want to collaborate on tasks and to be able to sync their public tasks to their private (or vise versa) so they can view them on their PDAs. The core technology of Add2Exchange for Tasks was originally developed for Outlook contact and calendar synchronization.  After completion of Add2Exchange for CalendarsTM & ContactsTM, we felt the task sync module would greatly benefit managers and users by dramatically reducing labor intensive copying and pasting and, therefore, enable knowledge workers to focus more on the tasks at hand."

Why Synchronize Private and Public Outlook Tasks?

·        Teams or groups working on the same task can increase productivity and avoid confusion of what's been done
·        Managers can effectively track the progress of individual or group  tasks
·        Users can share information between departments for easy project management
·        Work groups can meet deadlines by having accurate, up-to-date information on the status of one or more tasks
·        Organizations can centralize tasks for job management and process control
·        Mobile professionals can view their public/private Outlook tasks on their mobile devices and work on them when away from the office

Organizations interested in synchronizing Outlook tasks can download a fully functional free trial version of Add2Exchange at www.diditbetter.com. The trial includes all three sync modules of Add2Exchange: calendars, contacts, & tasks. The user can choose to try one, two, or all three modules. In addition, the trial of each module is 20-days. Each module, Add2Exchange for CalendarsTM, Add2Exchange for ContactsTM, and Add2Exchange for TasksTM is licensed separately.

Additional solution information, features, screen shots, and pricing also available at www.diditbetter.com, email [email protected] or call a Diditbetter Sales Representative at (813) 977-5739. The solution(s) can be ordered online at http://store.diditbetter.com .  (Source: Press Release)
