Inscenic wants to announce a new version 1.2 of a well-known Warring Nations game.

The latest update now provides a feature which previously could only be found in Pocket PC VGA edition - Elite Knights unit type*.

Compatibility has been improved for Pocket PCs with square screens. Palm OS version now has the battle field rendered in higher resolution, allowing players to operate battles more comfortably. Also user interface and the underlying engine has been slightly improved (UI: a neat shadow effect in the Map view, fading-out hint popups, etc.; engine: better performance and memory footprint).

What is Warring Nations? It's a turn-based strategy game, and the action there is taking place in the Medieval World. It is the time of noble lords, great battles, and glorious victories. Strategy Games finalist of Pocket PC Magazine Awards in 2004.

SAPIE, a first ever Personal A.I. secretary is released by Speereo Software UK

SAPIE, a first ever Personal A.I. secretary is designed to fulfill the whole range of secretary duties. It was raised under strict supervision in Speereo Software Labs. It can be installed on your handheld device to help you maintain your agenda, contacts, tasks and email accounts.

We’ve taught her to recognize a number of speech commands telling her how to respond. It’s useless to discuss poetry with her. She’s able to understand only the duty-related tasks. For example, to remind you of the events keeping your schedule clear, to record your contacts connecting you with them if needed, to send letters you’ve dictated to her, to note your progress in various projects. That is to say all the duties of a usual secretary.

SAPIE is based on Speereo Speech Recognition technology (SSR) that offers you 99,9% accuracy and speaker-independency. SAPIE is able to maintain a natural dialogue with you, so you can now carry your briefcase or drive a car while speaking to your personal adviser. Don’t bother and don’t tap the screen.

Since SAPIE is an artificial intelligence unit, you can teach her custom commands according to his own needs. One phrase to launch SAPIE, another phrase to record a reminder. SAPIE is obviously time-effective.

Compared to human beings, SAPIE has lots of advantages; she never sleeps, she is never in poor health, she works for a song. Her current level of sophistication doesn’t allow you to dictate neither poems nor legal documents. However, she copes with her tasks well.

We talk a bit about Windows Mobile Crossbow and then how a Dell Axim with Crossbow is still a possibility in 2007.
